Tuesday - Senior Spotlight
Sponsored by Appalachian Brian Estates, Glenbridge, and Bayada Nurses

Wednesday - On the Right Side w/ Jim Goff and Jim Hastings
Ah, the High Country. A leafy paradise, a peaceful escape from the urban hustle and sprawl, a cool oasis of calm and relief from summer’s oppressive heat, the heavenly seat itself of Peace on Earth.

Well, not exactly and not all the time. We’re up in the mountains, but so are our home prices; our schools are better, but our school construction costs are through the roof. And Raleigh seems to think we are in Tennessee. So who can you talk to? Jim and Jim. Jim Hastings, a man who never passed up an opinion; and Jim Goff, ASU Professor of American History (with a specialty in Gospel music’s roots). They will be talking it over with the High Country Wednesday mornings from 9:10 until 10 am on WATA and WXIT’s morning show with Johnathon Roten.

Some of Jim Hastings' favorite sources of information:
The Civitas Institute
The John Locke Foundation
The Alliance Defense Fund

Thursday - Train up a Child w/ Chris Christenbury
If you've got a teen or a pre-teen at home, you've got a problem. Join Chris Christenbury for lively discussion of ways to help teenagers deal with problems like drugs, alcohol and unhealthy life-styles. Chris is the founder of The Cove Creek Center, Inc., which operates Cove Creek Academy. This residential / day school helps teenage boys who are having trouble with traditional education methods and need individualized help in getting their high school diplomas. Chris, a former US Marine and a Viet Nam veteran with a BA in Justice Administration, will moderate weekly discussions with marriage & family therapists, psychologists, law enforcement and school administrators.
